Cirkus Xanti - LOOP
Is it a bit far fetched to compare a performance to life itself? Maybe. But like life, LOOP is made up by a number of short stories and incidents. It’s called the circle of life, and the Latin word for circle is Circus.

A loop has an unknown beginning and an unknown end, but in between it also forms a circle. Three Norwegian jugglers and a French aerialist invite the audience into this circle, where a playful, spectacular and meaningful performance takes place. The physical language of the circus tells, among others, the gripping and poetic story of Sadako from Hiroshima, and her thousand paper cranes.

LOOP is made especially for Cirkus Xanti’s new circus tents, and is a complex performance, both hilarious and sobering, with it’s rapid changes between slapstick routines and pondering the great questions in life, elephants, origami, jaw dropping stunts and colorful underwear.
